STARZ, WrapWomen, and Ladies in Movie are accepting submissions for the Telling Our Stories (TOS) film level of competition. The contest, which showcases quick films from females and gender non-conforming filmmakers of colour, will see 6 finalists obtaining distribution on STARZ, currently being acknowledged at WrapWomen’s Power Gals Summit, and competing for the best $10,000 prize.
Submissions will be open up via October 29.
“Designed to elevate short films by woman filmmakers of shade, narrative or documentary, the TOS contest highlights themes related to womanhood, group, and illustration,” a push release announced.
Qualified shorts should be 10 minutes or considerably less. It’s good if a submission has previously screened at movie festivals, but it is ineligible if it has currently received distribution or screened on U.S. community or cable television. Overseas language jobs will be accepted, but they must be subtitled in English.
Finalists will be notified by December 1. The winner will be introduced at the Electricity Females Summit, which is getting held practically December 8-10.
