Nazrin Choudhury will tell the tale of an “American Radical” for Common. The “Fear the Strolling Dead” co-executive producer has been hired to pen the film adaptation of memoir “American Radical: Inside of the Globe of an Undercover Muslim FBI Agent” for the studio, Deadline reports.

Common has optioned the rights to Kevin Maurer and Tamer Elnoury’s 2018 e-book. It recounts Elnoury’s experiences as “a longtime undercover agent who joined the counter-terrorism device right after Sept. 11, 2001,” for each the resource. He succeeded in “infiltrating and bringing down a terror cell that was dependent in United States.”

Rami Malek will star in the pic and reunite with his “Mr. Robot” collaborator, Sam Esmail, who is directing.

Choudhury has previously composed for and made series including “Blood & Treasure,” “Jack Ryan,” and “Houdini and Doyle.”
